Sirotin Intelligence Announces Strategic Communications Partnership with Astronomy for Equity
December 2025— Sirotin Intelligence has entered a strategic communications partnership with Astronomy for Equity (A4E), a nonprofit organization using astronomy to bring STEM education to marginalized communities worldwide.
The partnership marks an expansion into mission-driven space initiatives. As A4E's strategic communications partner, Sirotin Intelligence will develop sponsor outreach materials, messaging strategy, and program collateral to support A4E's industry engagement—including preparation for the American Astronomical Society's winter meeting in January 2025.
A4E's flagship program, Bright Futures, has distributed over 130,000 eclipse glasses to students across 12 countries, delivering hands-on solar science education at approximately $0.10 per student per year. The organization aims to reach 3 million students through partnerships with astronomy organizations worldwide.
"Mike has spent 50 years building the kind of global reach most organizations talk about but can't achieve," Angelica Sirotin. "A4E operates in 12 countries at a fraction of what traditional programs cost. We're helping them get that story in front of the right sponsors."
"Astronomy is a gateway to STEM education, especially in places that lack science facilities and teachers,” said Mike Simmons, Founder of Astronomy for Equity. “The expanding space economy depends on youth everywhere entering tech fields. Angelica’s experience and network will be critical to broadening support for A4E’s mission in the space sector.”
