What Corporate Sponsors Actually Want to See (and How We Built It for Astronomy For Equity)

How we translated a global STEM education mission into a ten-slide case for corporate partnership.
What Corporate Sponsors Actually Want to See (and How We Built It for Astronomy For Equity)

We recently completed a sponsor pitch deck for our Strategic Communications Partner, Astronomy for Equity, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that uses astronomy as a gateway to STEM education in marginalized communities worldwide. It's one of those projects that reminds you why strategic communications matters in the first place.

SAMPLE SLIDE

A4E's flagship program, Bright Futures, puts eclipse glasses and lesson plans into schools that have no science facilities, no trained science teachers, and no lab equipment. The cost per student runs about ten cents a year. They've already distributed over a million glasses across 12 countries in the pilot phase, with 50 countries in the pipeline as the program scales.

The deck needed to accomplish two things well:

1) Make the case for corporate sponsorship... and

2) Convey the actual scale of what's happening on the ground.

When a program operates at that cost efficiency, the numbers do most of the heavy lifting. Our job was to build a narrative that kept pace with the data, framing A4E's work for CSR decision-makers who care about measurable impact and global reach.

SAMPLE SLIDE

The result is a ten-slide deck that walks potential sponsors from the problem through A4E's solution, the program ecosystem, verified impact metrics, leadership credentials, and three distinct partnership models. It's built for the conversations already underway, including a CSR partnership in development with a major U.S. bank.

Sirotin Intelligence serves as A4E's strategic communications partner, providing messaging strategy, content development, and sponsor-facing materials.

If your organization is doing meaningful work and needs communications that reflect it, we'd love to hear from you!
